Projects
Designing solutions, then asking who can afford them.
Each project began with a practical problem and ended with an economic question.
Smart Chair
Rak's Pallikkoodam, Cambridge Design & Technology (IGCSE and AS-Level)
A user-centred redesign of the standard Indian classroom chair, integrating storage and ergonomic back support — developed through surveys, CAD modelling, and a laser-cut prototype, and written up as a research paper.
Smart Medicine Dispenser
Cambridge Design & Technology (A2-Level)
SmartMed — an affordable medication management system with eight drawers, scheduled audio and visual reminders, and a companion phone app, designed around the needs of elderly users and caregivers.
Tennis Ball Feeder
IGCSE Design & Technology
A self-built training machine exploring mechanical design, electronics, performance, and affordability — designed so players can train solo for hours without a feeding partner.
Robotics, Design & Manufacturing
Self-directed projects
RC aeroplanes, hovercrafts, drones, and electronics — learning aerodynamics, motors, and circuitry through iteration and failure.
